A BIT ABOUT US
How we started
As a volunteer student tutor, I had seen instances of girl students from underprivileged backgrounds missing school due to their periods. I was deeply affected by the aspect of missing studies due to such a basic reason that forms an integral part of the lives of all girls/ women.
I believe that by being silent spectators we cannot make a change, we need to take action. Instilled with passion for doing my bit for the community, I decided to launch a project to reach out to thousands of girls across the country to spread awareness on menstruation, menstrual hygiene management, removing taboos and stigmas associated and motivate them to maintain dignity.
THE AIM
The simple agenda is to get all girls and women to wear the "Red Badge of Courage" with dignity.
Through this project I also aim to spread information about government run schemes of affordable pads.
